The branding design for De Facto, a local fashion brand dealing in high-quality synthetic leather products, captures the essence of minimalism while drawing inspiration directly from the world of fashion and craftsmanship. As a brand specialising in synthetic leather products, De Facto needed an identity that was modern, simple, and rooted in its product story.

The design achieves this through a subtle yet powerful visual motif derived from the stitching detail found in leather goods. The logo mark takes the form of a simple horizontal bar with rounded ends — a modern abstraction of craftsmanship translated into a clean visual identity. Paired with a geometric sans-serif wordmark, the design balances clarity and refinement, supported by a precise grid system that ensures harmony and proportion. The red stitch symbol adds boldness and memorability, while the gray logotype grounds the brand in sophistication. Overall, the identity captures De Facto’s philosophy of offering stylish, detail-oriented products under a brand that values both design and detail.
